Finally i've decided to log on to www.blogger.com to at least erm, update this considerably dead blog and so basically, i'm back from hainan (12/5). Wanted to put pictures in this post but seems too troublesome. So to those who wants the pictures, it's over at http://tzin.shutterfly.com/action/ and as for the password, it's 4a07. Comparing hainan with other annual camp, i guess it's the most interesting and slackest "camp". I wonder how one can define camp, but for your information i didn't do any building of tent or cooking of own food over at hainan, seems more like a holiday to me. While people who paid 3 times more got to go australia, or maybe new zealand, even mongolia. So what that they do is trekking almost everyday simply by carrying a backpack of around 15kg for around erm, 10km. Bleah can't be bothered with other annual camp, all that matters is that hainan was fun.

This week was rather busy, although the tests are over. Had to finish up NRP proposal (jieyang did most of the things while i only did reseach, so thanks buddy!), do an english essay about prejudice (which i took over 3 hours ++). 4 chinese summary, maths assignment exercise 17D and review problems 17, and the maths test on differentiation of exponential and finding stationery points and determining whether it's a maximum or minimum. Got back my geography paper too, which i got 13.5/25 initially but after begging for marks i got 15. Adding on to my 16/20 for social studies, my humanities is an A2 on average. It's double weightage so i'm glad i didn't get anything worse than A2. I've calculated, the worst msg i can get should be 2.22, and the best i can get is nothing more than 1.89. Not really that unsatisfied with the results this term since i didn't mug much. Oh yeah there was the dissecting of eyeball for our biology practical this week, and it's so omg-ly gross! Throughout the dissecting process i felt imaginary pain my eyes, and especially the part when the cornea (was it cornea?) was poked through, the aqueous humour came gushing out...eeewk. Here's some photos...

Though i got back geography there's still chinese term test (counted for term 3) that is yet to be collected back, which i think i wrote out of point. Bleah whatever, i'll be getting back either next week or next term, but i know i'll be at a disadvantaged position at the start of term 3.

Anyway i just came back from marina square, this weekend mostly i've been working on my service-learning project with eric, weisheng and bryan, and had to filming here and there on the activities that Children's Cancer Foundation (the organization we're helping out) organized. So yesterday in the morning had to attend the ymca - youth for causes official launch thingy over at acs barker, and in the evening there's the filming over at fluid bar in far east square, where 20 brave women shave their hair for fund-raising and we got to interview 3 of them. And oh yeah gurmit singh was there to shave his hair too.It all lasted until 10.30pm before we can finally leave, and this morning had to go down to marina square just to take a 2 minutes video of the leukemia patients going on some tour. Since these events are organized by CCF and we're doing a documentary to raise public awareness, it's a no alternative situation but to take long and boring mrt-rides just for the filming of videos Hmmm, then eric, weisheng and i ate at burger king, and played pool after that. It's really freaking expensive to play there, $9.60/hour. Since eric was persistent of playing there we have no choice but to oblige loh. Yep so it was weisheng and eric vs me, and it's so darn cool that i won them 5 - 0 (:
